Viktoriia Baskina is a psychiatrist of the highest category, psychotherapist, medical psychologist, PhD in Medical Sciences, and Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, Medical Psychology, and Psychotherapy at Odesa National Medical University. Throughout her career, she has worked as a practicing psychiatrist, leads the acute women’s unit at the Mental Health Medical Center, teaches at the university, and actively promotes mental health awareness in the media. Viktoriia is the author and host of the TV and radio program Mind Games.

Her approach combines evidence-based practices with a deep understanding of human psychology. She holds additional specializations in addiction medicine, sexology, and medical psychology, and has completed advanced training in suicidology, addiction therapy, forensic psychiatry, polygraph testing, and normative exposure therapy.

A significant part of her work is humanitarian: for over two years, she has been providing volunteer medical care in de-occupied areas, helping people suffering from war trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder.

She is the author of more than 15 scientific publications, including the handbook Self-Assessment Diary of Somatic, Emotional, and Cognitive Health. Her professional contributions have been recognized with honors from the Ukrainian Parliament’s Health Committee and the Odesa Regional Administration.
